Welcome to Penrithlocal
Last updated at 10:53, Tuesday, 28 July 2009
This is a new “hyper-local” website launched by the News & Star.
It aims to provide the Penrith community with a website that is packed full of information and useful links as well as a taste of the news and sport from the News & Star and its sister paper, the Times & Star.
We aim to make the site as open as possible to people in the community who may like to contribute news, pictures and information.
So if you run a local group you can have your own page on this site or if you’ve got something to say you can join in the conversation at Penrithlocal.
And any information or news you contribute to this site is likely to be used by the News & Star to improve its Penrith coverage.
Get in contact with your Penrith news, to contact Penrith Community Correspondent Linda Mellor please email her using this link
