David and Elizabeth Carrick opened their Penrith shop in November 2008 on the Cornmarket. Carrick's of Penrith stock a wide selection of luxury Chocolates, personalised Hampers and locally sourced preserves, chutneys, biscuits and sweets. The shelves are stacked full of interesting and tasty produce.
David and Elizabeth's 22yr old son, Andrew, helped them design the shop and was instrumental in getting them online with a new website and online shop. They have launched their new website this week.
Elizabeth says, "We really enjoy our Penrith location, we serve lots of regular customers and tourists here who enjoy much of our local produce. Our luxury chocolates are very popular especially our heart shaped Passion Fruit Fondant Creams, local Strawberry Jam is also a firm favourite and so is Penrith's Toffee Shop Fudge."
Carrick's of Penrith can be found 25A Cornmarket, Penrith.
